Moulton-based SouthStar Bank announced that Alexis Michael and Ryan Noyce have been named regional executives of the bank’s urban north and urban south regions. The announcement was made by Brent Gibbs, executive vice president and chief lending officer.
Michael has been with SouthStar Bank since 2018, starting as branch executive of the Leander branch and eventually being promoted to her current position to mentor and lead a loan officer production team in the urban north region. She has 17 years of experience in financial services. Throughout her career, she has received recognition for her hard work and dedication to clients. Her recent achievements include being recognized as a “Top Commercial Lender” by Austin Monthly magazine in 2022 and selected as an “Emerging Leader” by the Texas Bankers Foundation in 2021. Michael earned an associate degree in accounting from North Florida State College and a bachelor’s degree in human resource management from Park University. She has been a member of Commercial Real Estate Women since 2009 and served as the organization’s president in 2017.
Noyce joined the SouthStar Bank team in 2017 as senior vice president of lending. He has served the Texas banking industry for 24 years. Since being promoted to his current role, he has been responsible for leading and developing the bank’s urban south lending team. In 2021, he was awarded the Trailboss Award by the bank’s executive team. The Trailboss Award is given to individuals who have helped guide the bank’s teams, selected routes for new and expanded operations and supported key initiatives to exceed expectations. Noyce attended Texas State University and completed the Southwestern Graduate School of Banking at Southern Methodist University. He serves on the board of the Reveal Resource Center and previously served as a chamber ambassador for the Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce.
