Louisiana-based Origin Bank Hires Cornelius as Regional Executive Vice President for North Texas Region

Todd CorneliusChoudrant, Louisiana-based Origin Bank has hired Todd Cornelius as regional executive vice president/business development for its North Texas region. He joins the team at Origin Bank’s Dallas financial center.

Cornelius has more than 27 years of banking experience, specializing in the development and training of banking personnel through strategic partnerships and relationship building. In his new position, he will be responsible for developing business and enhancing the client experience for Origin Bank.

“Todd is a proven leader with the skills to help our Dallas and Fort Worth teams grow and realize their full potential as trusted advisors,” says Warrie Birdwell, North Texas president.

Cornelius earned a bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University, as well as an MBA degree from Southern Methodist University. He spends time supporting the Seal Legacy Foundation, which assists families of injured and fallen U.S. Navy Seals, as well as The Honor Foundation, which provides career services to members of U.S. Special Forces as they transition to civilian employment.

Established in 1912, Origin Bank operates more than 40 banking centers located from Dallas/Fort Worth, across North Louisiana to Central Mississippi, as well as in Houston.
