San Antonio-based Lone Star Capital Bank NA has appointed three new members to its board as advisory directors. All currently serve as executive vice presidents at the bank.
Christy McCoy, chief operating officer, has been in banking for 28 years and at Lone Star Capital Bank for 26 years. She earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Texas–San Antonio and is a graduate of the Southwestern Graduate School of Banking at Southern Methodist University.
Marianne Watson, chief retail banking officer, has been in banking for 44 years and at Lone Star Capital Bank for six years. She holds a BBA degree in finance and economics from the Hankamer School of Business at Baylor University.
Robert Potter, chief commercial banking officer, has been in banking for 30 years and at Lone Star Capital Bank for 19 years. He earned his BS degree in business administration and management from Northern Arizona University, as well as an MBA degree from the University of Texas–San Antonio. Potter is a former board member of the Special Forces Ministries, which provides counseling and family assistance services to San Antonio Police Department personnel.
Established in 1999, Lone Star Capital Bank operates eight Central Texas branches in San Antonio, Austin, Blanco, Dripping Springs, Johnson City and Marble Falls.
