Legend Bank Hires McMahon for Commercial Lending in North Richland Hills

Jason McMahonBowie-based Legend Bank recently announced that Jason McMahon has joined the bank as a commercial lender/senior vice president, serving North Richland Hills and surrounding areas.

McMahon is a longtime banker with a career that spans more than 28 years in financial institutions. Most recently, he was a senior vice president at First National Bank in Southlake. He served there as a commercial lender providing customers with a variety of loans, including commercial real estate, investment properties, residential and commercial construction and development lending, as well as working capital loans and small-business loans. Throughout his career, McMahon has served in many banking roles, including credit analyst, business development officer and financial center manager. Early in his career, he was a teller and licensed financial services representative.

“McMahon’s experience and reputation for serving customers in this community will be a valuable asset to Legend Bank as we grow our presence in North Richland Hills and surrounding areas,” says Mindy Monroe, south regional president/executive vice president.

McMahon is a graduate of the American Bankers Association Graduate School of Banking. He received his BBA degree in finance from the University of Texas–Arlington. He serves his community by being involved in local chambers and he has volunteered as a financial Peace University coordinator through his church. In that role, helped couples align their finances, create budgets and plan for the future. Recently, McMahon also served as treasurer of the Byron Nelson Bobcats Soccer Booster Club.

Established in 1890, Legend Bank NA has 13 locations throughout North Texas with total assets of more than $1 billion.
