Kansas-based CrossFirst Bank Hires Hernandez to Lead Business Bankers in South Dallas

Mariano HernandezIn late January, Leawood, Kansas-based CrossFirst Bank announced that Mariano Hernandez will be leading its business banking team in South Dallas County. He has more than 40 years of banking experience, most recently working in a consulting capacity to guide business owners in acquiring financing to meet company objectives.

Hernandez’s banking experience also includes serving as a senior vice president at Business Bank of Texas in Garland and First State Bank in Mesquite, as well as chief lending officer at Bank of Southwest. He launched his career as a liquidation assistant at the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp., followed by a stint as bank examiner at the Texas Department of Banking.

Hernandez holds a BBA degree in finance from Hardin-Simmons University, where he was a trumpet player in the Cowboy Band while earning his degree.

Established in 2007, CrossFirst Bank operates 14 branches in Kansas, Texas, Oklahoma, Colorado, Missouri, Arizona and New Mexico.
