Danny Butler, president and CEO of San Antonio-based Jefferson Bank, recently announced the addition of two commercial bankers to its San Antonio and New Braunfels teams. They will develop loan and deposit relationships with small- to middle-market companies and associations, managing the loan process, credit underwriting, documentation and portfolio management.
Oscar Tijerina has joined the bank to serve as senior vice president/commercial lending officer in the San Antonio market. He comes to Jefferson Bank with more than 25 years of experience. Tijerina has worked in commercial banking at Bank OZK, Spirit Bank of Texas, Simmons Bank and SNB Bank, among others.
Tijerina earned a BBA degree in finance from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas. Active in his community, he serves on the finance and St. Nicholas Ball committees for Catholic Charities, Archdiocese of San Antonio. He is also a member of the loan committee for LiftFund.
Amber Brown has been hired to serve as senior vice president/commercial lending officer for the New Braunfels market. With 18 years of experience, she specializes in commercial lending and business development. Prior to joining Jefferson Bank, Brown served in executive roles at Security State Bank & Trust, Prosperity Bank and Gateway Mortgage.
Brown holds a BS degree in sociology from Texas State University. In addition, she is a certified real estate sales agent in Texas.
