On December 7, Perryton-based Interstate Bank announced the retirement of Mike Blasingame as market president. He has been with the bank for 20 years serving in various roles, including executive vice president, commercial and ag lender, chief lending officer and, most recently, market president. He is also a member of the bank’s board of directors. Interstate Bank hosted a retirement party for Blasingame on December 15 at its Perryton banking office. His retirement will be effective December 31.
A Perryton native, Blasingame “has played a vital role in the day-to-day operations of the bank, his dedication and his love of our community have made him the perfect fit for leading our bank and its people,” the bank notes in a recent press release.
“We congratulate Mike on his career and the many lasting relationships that he has developed over the years,” says Danny Skarda, chair and CEO. “Mike has been part of the management team that continues to guide the direction of the bank. His knowledge and leadership made him a valuable member of our executive team.”
Established in 1958, Interstate Bank serves the Texas Panhandle with locations in Perryton and Amarillo.
