Hodge Promoted to Deputy Regional President of Cadence Bank in Texas

October 30, 2025

Michelle HodgeTupelo, Mississippi-based Cadence Bank has promoted Michelle N. Hodge to deputy regional president and she joins the bank’s Texas region leadership team led by Lester Lucy, regional president. Hodge was most recently in a leadership role with Industry Bancshares and joined Cadence Bank following its July acquisition.

Hodge has been in the banking sector for more than 18 years, including 13 years with the Texas Department of Banking, for which she was a division director and a senior bank examiner. She will continue serving on the faculty at the Graduate School of Banking at Colorado in Boulder and on the advisory board for the Texas Tech School of Banking.

Hodge is a graduate of Texas Tech University and the Graduate of School of Banking at Colorado. For the past 13 years, she has participated in various Susan G. Komen events, raising funds for breast cancer research.

Established in 1886, Cadence Bank operates more than 350 branch locations across the South and Texas.
