The Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas has appointed Matt Tower vice president and assistant general auditor. He will work with the bank’s general auditor to establish strategic priorities for the audit department and oversee the development and execution of the audit plan.
Tower joined the Dallas Fed in 2021 as assistant vice president of the Financial Management Shared Service Center, which provides operational accounting services for all 12 Federal Reserve banks. Prior to joining the Dallas Fed, he managed a shared-services organization at Accenture, for which he was responsible for accounts payable, expense management and help-desk operations. Prior to his time at Accenture, Tower worked in procurement at Shell Chemical Co. and was an officer in the U.S. Army.
Tower holds a BS degree degree in economics from the U.S. Military Academy.
The Dallas Fed serves the 11th Federal Reserve District, encompassing Texas, northern Louisiana and southern New Mexico.
