Oklahoma City, Oklahoma-based Valliance Bank, which has branches in North Texas, has hired Lori Elms to serve as senior vice president/chief operating officer.
Elms’ 23-year banking career began as a teller while attending the University of Oklahoma. From there, she navigated her way through the financial industry overseeing a wide variety of banking operational responsibilities. Before joining Valliance Bank, Elms was developing a retail banking program at Bank7, served as senior vice president of retail operations at Sovereign Bank and senior vice president director of operations at The First State Bank.
“Lori brings a wealth of experience and operational knowledge; but more importantly, she is an ideal fit with the Valliance corporate culture and our dedication to identifying and meeting the needs of our customers,” says Brad Swickey, president and CEO.
Elms holds a BA degree from the University of Oklahoma and an MBA degree in organizational development from Oklahoma Christian University. She is an active member of the Oklahoma Bankers Association (OBA) and has served on the OBA operations school board and as board committee chair for the OBA Women in Banking committee. Elms was recognized by the Oklahoma City Journal Record in 2020 as one of its “Achievers Under 40.”
Established in 2004, Valliance Bank has Oklahoma branches in downtown Oklahoma City and Norman, and Texas branches in McKinney and Fort Worth.
