Corpus Christi-based American Bank Establishes New Regional Board for San Antonio

June 27, 2024

Corpus Christi-based American Bank recently announced the appointment of seven new members to its San Antonio regional board.

“San Antonio has no shortage of great leaders and we’ve assembled some of the best, who also share our commitment to bettering the community,” says Byron Bexley, the bank’s vice chairman for San Antonio, who will chair the regional board. “Their wisdom and business savvy will help American Bank better serve our clients throughout the greater San Antonio area. We’re excited to welcome this powerful group of business leaders to the American Bank family. I know our clients and community will benefit from their leadership and insights.”

Joining American Bank’s San Antonio regional board:

  • Brad Badger, vice president of Cisneros Miramontes.
  • Shane Barbee, chief operating officer of Eco-Soil Stabilizers;
  • Rachel Farley, owner of M&M Premier Lending;
  • Joey Guerra, owner of Integrated Realty Group;
  • Cody Knowlton, president and CEO of the Baptist Health Foundation of San Antonio;
  • Keith Leslie, president and CEO of Full Armor Group; and
  • Eli Woolsey, president of Woolsey Construction.

The new board members join Bexley, Manny Ruiz, San Antonio market president, and Joe Petet, vice chairman for Central Texas.

“As a community bank with strong Texas roots and values, we made a strategic investment in San Antonio. It’s a perfect fit for our bank,” says Donette Stubblefield, chief banking executive for commercial and wealth. “American Bank’s vision is to be a leading Texas regional bank.
