The board of directors of Corpus Christi-based Charter Bank announced that Jack Cissna has been promoted to vice president of commercial lending. He joined the bank in 2022 as an assistant vice president.
Prior to joining Charter Bank, Cissna served as a relationship manager and credit analyst at Kleberg Bank for almost four years. He earned a BBA degree from Texas A&M University–Kingsville. He is also a graduate of the SW Graduate School of Banking at Southern Methodist University.
In other news, Scott Rios has joined Charter Bank as vice president/commercial lending officer. He brings seven years of local banking experience to his new job. Rios earned a BBA degree in finance from Texas A&M University–Corpus Christi. Active in his community, he serves on the board of HALO-Flight Inc. and as treasurer on the board of the Portland Chamber of Commerce. He is a graduate of Leadership Portland and was a member of its steering committee.
Established in 1962, Charter Bank operates three branches in Corpus Christi and one in Rockport.
