On June 9, Harlingen-based Texas Regional Bank announced the promotion of Eduardo Caso, head of international private banking, to executive vice president.
Caso joined the bank in 2018 to establish the international private banking division. Since then, the division has become a strategic part of the bank’s service offering, particularly in supporting cross-border business and strengthening financial relationships between the U.S. and Mexico. Under Caso’s leadership, the division has grown steadily. The foreign exchange department, housed within the division, has executed more than 11,000 transactions since 2021.
“Caso’s leadership has been instrumental in expanding Texas Regional Bank’s international presence and helping us deliver the specialized banking services our clients need,” says Michael Scaief, president. “His expertise will continue to create a meaningful impact across the division and further position the bank as a diversified financial services provider.”
Established in 1987, Texas Regional Bank operates 34 branches across Texas.
