Houston- and Tupelo, Mississippi-based Cadence Bank has promoted Randy Petersen to executive managing director. This promotion expands his role assuming responsibility for the bank’s Texas-based commercial and industrial group. He continues to oversee the energy finance group. Petersen has been with Cadence Bank since 2010. In 2019, he played a pivotal role in launching the bank’s renewables group, further strengthening its position in the energy industry.
Petersen attended the University of Texas–Austin. He is a member of the American Leadership Forum.
