Cadence Bank Hires Marin for Dallas Trust and Asset Management Group

Ariel MarinAtlanta, Georgia-based Cadence Bank has hired Ariel “Ari” Marin to serve as wealth planning strategist in the Dallas office of the bank’s trust and asset management group. The bank operates 13 banking offices in Texas.

Prior to joining Cadence Bank, Marin worked for the Nautilus Group, a subsidiary of New York Life. There, he consulted on a wide variety of tax, legal, financial and family planning needs. Before Nautilus, he worked for Wescott Financial Advisory Group, Merrill Lynch and Ennovance Capital.

“Ari’s expertise reinforces our commitment to providing clients with deeply experienced advisors who can guide them through the decision-making and strategic planning process,” says Felix Meneses, senior vice president, trust and estates executive at Cadence Bank.

Marin received a bachelor’s degree from George Washington University, a Juris Doctor degree from the City University of New York School of Law, a Master of Law degree in taxation and certificate in estate planning from Villanova Law School’s Graduate Tax Program. He is also a certified financial planner and chartered life underwriter. Marin has volunteered with the SeniorLAW Center, Put Something Back, Wills for Heroes, Manhattan Legal Services and the Campaign for Working Families.

Established in 1887, Cadence Bank operates 99 branch locations in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, Tennessee and Texas.
