Bee Cave Chamber of Commerce Honors Texas Regional Bank and Market President DeStefano

July 2, 2025

Harlingen-based Texas Regional Bank received dual recognition from the Bee Cave Chamber of Commerce in June. David DeStefano, Bee Cave market president, was named “Businessman of the Year” and the Bee Cave banking center was recognized as “Community Business Partner of the Year.”

DeStefano is actively involved in several nonprofit and civic organizations focused on supporting children, families and community well-being. He serves as treasurer for Cheyanna’s Champions 4 Children (CC4C), which improves the quality of life for Texas children living with rare and undiagnosed medical conditions. He also supports A Kind Hart Foundation, which focuses on acts of kindness and direct assistance for the Lake Travis area in Central Texas and participates regularly with the Engage & Heal Foundation, which promotes mental health awareness and works to reduce the stigma associated with conversations around mental health.

In addition to his nonprofit work, DeStefano is a member of the City of Bee Cave Board of Adjustments and previously served on the board of CavsLounge. He also completed a four-year term with the Lake Travis Education Foundation, on which he held roles as board member, president-elect elect and president, helping advance the foundation’s mission to support local students and educators.

Established in 2010, Texas Regional Bank operates more than 30 banking centers across the Rio Grande Valley, Texas Hill Country, Houston and Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex.
