Josh Burleson, director of commercial banking at Arlington-based Susser Bank, has been named president of the Tarrant County Bankers Association (TCBA). The organization fosters the leadership skills of bankers in the region and develops programs to build awareness of the Texas banking industry. The group hosts social events, educational seminars, luncheons and opportunities to serve the community through Habitat for Humanity and other outstanding organizations.
“This is quite an honor to represent Tarrant County Bankers Association,” Burleson says. “I am looking forward to the opportunity to work with the leading Bankers in Tarrant County and invite new members to join the organization.”
Burleson joined Susser Bank in 2018. As director of commercial banking, he leads the bank’s commercial lending and SBA groups. He earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting and an MBA degree from Texas Tech University. He is a 2015 graduate of the American Bankers Association Stonier Graduate and The Wharton Leadership Program.
