Brooks Promoted to Senior Vice President at Citizens State Bank

February 27, 2025

Will BrooksWoodville-based Citizens State Bank recently announced the promotion of Will Brooks to senior vice president. He currently serves as a commercial lender in the bank’s newest location at Valley Ranch. With more than a decade of experience in the banking sector, his skills developing customized solutions for businesses across various sizes and industries have established him as a leader in his field. He frequently collaborates with multigenerational business owners and entrepreneurs, helping them navigate their strategic objectives.

Brooks joined Citizens State Bank in 2022 as vice president/credit administration. Prior to that, he was vice president/commercial lending at First Financial Bank in Kingwood. His 12-year banking career has also included stints with Commercial State Bank, Amegy Bank and Prosperity Bank.

Brooks earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from Oklahoma State University. He serves as treasurer on the board of directors for the Humble Area Assistance Ministries.

Established in 1919, Citizens State Bank operates branches in Woodville, Marlin, Porter and Warren.
