Bank of Texas Taps McCoy as CEO of Fort Worth Region

May 30, 2024

Bill McCoyMark Wade, CEO of Fort Worth-based Bank of Texas, announced that Bill McCoy has been promoted to CEO of the bank’s Fort Worth region. McCoy will be responsible for driving top-line revenue growth and business generation, talent acquisition and retention, employee engagement and community engagement in Tarrant County.

McCoy previously served as senior vice president and manager of corporate banking and has been with Bank of Texas since 2008. He has more than 40 years of banking experience, which also includes stints at Citibank Texas and Wells Fargo Bank. In 2011, McCoy served as president of the Tarrant County Bankers Association. He earned his BBA degree in finance from Texas Christian University. He currently serves on the Camp Fire First Texas Foundation board of directors.

“Bill’s reputation is a stellar one, Wade says. “I think he’s the perfect choice to help drive top-line revenue growth, attract and retain talent and continue the momentum we’ve built in the Fort Worth region.”

Established in 1984, Bank of Texas is a subsidiary of Tulsa, Oklahoma-based BOK Financial.
