Bank of Texas Awards $10,000 to Dallas Children’s Advocacy Center

July 17, 2025

The Dallas Children’s Advocacy Center, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing a safe place for healing after abuse, recently received a $10,000 donation from Bank of Texas through its annual Guide the Giving initiative.

Every year, as part of the Guide the Giving initiative, BOK Financial employees across the company’s eight-state footprint, which includes Bank of Texas, are invited to nominate their favorite local nonprofit organization for a chance to receive a $10,000 donation. Employees cast their votes and a winning nonprofit is chosen in each market.

“This donation is especially meaningful because it was driven by our employees—people who are truly part of this community,” says Grant Leigh (pictured above left), Dallas market CEO. “They see the needs, they know the organizations doing the work and they chose this nonprofit because they believe in its mission. We’re proud to support their choice. The impact the Dallas Children’s Advocacy Center has on the community is undeniable.”

Established in 1984, Bank of Texas is a division of BOK Financial Corp. headquartered in Tulsa, Oklahoma. It currently operates more than 30 branches in Texas.
