American State Bank Names Bowen Market President for Amarillo Region

August 30, 2022

Steve BowenArp-based American State Bank has appointed Steve Bowen Amarillo region market president. The bank recently established loan/deposit production offices in West Texas and the South Plains. The Amarillo office is located at 801 S. Fillmore, Suite 205.

“As a community bank committed to Texas, we’re starting with the right individuals to lead our markets and build on our foundation of customer service,” says Kelly Sanders, CEO.

“American State Bank is the embodiment of a true community bank,” Bowen says. “I’m excited to have this opportunity to help Amarillo area businesses and entrepreneurs grow with us.”

Established in 1911, American State Bank operates 13 branches in addition to its loan/deposit production offices in Amarillo, Lubbock and Plainview.
