Alvarado Joins WestStar Bank’s Commercial Banking Group

April 9, 2021

Linda AlvaradoEl Paso-based WestStar Bank has hired Linda Alvarado to serve in its commercial banking group. She brings eight years of commercial banking experience to WestStar. Alvarado has previous experience as a credit analyst, commercial portfolio manager and commercial relationship manager. Throughout her banking tenure, she has managed a variety of complex credit portfolios, monitored and aided in the growth of middle-market relationships.

Alvarado earned her BBA degree with a focus on auditing and accounting from the University of Texas–El Paso, as well as an Advanced Credit Analysis Summit certificate from the Independent Bankers Association of Texas. She has also been a volunteer at the Advocacy Center for the Children of El Paso at which she organized special events and contributed to the management of funds.

Established in 1990, WestStar Bank serves the El Paso, Las Cruces and northern Mexico area—collectively known as the Borderplex region.
