Brady-based Texas Country Bancshares Chairman and CEO Joe Kim King recently announced that the Brady National Bank board of directors has elected Reed Williams president and CEO of Brady National Bank. Williams will also serve on the board of directors. He succeeds Terry Keltz who has served as president and CEO since 2004. Keltz has been elected chairman of the board for Brady National Bank.
A seasoned banker with more than a decade of community banking experience, Williams is a graduate of Tarleton State University with a business management degree. In addition, he completed an advanced degree in banking from the Southwestern Graduate School of Banking at Southern Methodist University. He currently serves as president of the Lone Star Bankers Association and on the board of the Independent Bankers Association of Texas Leadership Division. He is also the past president of the Hill Country Bankers Association.
Active in his community, Williams serves as treasurer and founding member of the Brady Civic Club, chairman of the Appraisal District board and McCulloch County Board of Development, and member of the Brady Youth Sports Baseball Committee and Rotary International. He previously served as president of Kiwanis International and Rotary International local chapters and the McCulloch County Industrial Foundation, as well as a board member of the Brady/McCulloch County Chamber of Commerce.
