Jacksonville-based Austin Bank hired three team members in April, as announced by Jeff Austin III, chair.
Dan Taylor has joined the bank as senior vice president/relationship manager in the Creekside Park location. He has a varied background in finance, banking, real estate, aviation and entrepreneurship. With two decades of experience in banking, he joins Austin Bank from Stellar Bank (formerly Allegiance Bank) in Conroe, where he served as vice president, commercial lender and group manager. Taylor started his banking career as a credit analyst at a local bank in The Woodlands upon graduating from Sam Houston State University. He holds a BBA degree with a double major in finance and banking and double minors in accounting and management.
Brandon Petersen has been hired as vice president/relationship manager in Whitehouse. He joins the Austin Bank team from its sister bank, First State Bank Athens, where he has worked for the past eight years. Starting as a credit analyst in the Athens office, he has also served as a loan officer in the Athens, Mabank and Forney locations.
Daniela Stokes has joined the team as vice president/assistant HR director. She brings 19 years of experience in human resources across many different industries, company sizes and states. Two of those years have been in the financial industry. She has worked as a human resources specialist, regional HR manager, HR manager, HR business partner and HR director.
