Texas Bank and Trust Hires Miller and Martin, Promotes White

October 1, 2021

Longview-based Texas Bank and Trust Co. recently announced two new hires and a promotion.

Chelsea Miller has joined the staff as vice president/commercial lender. With more than 14 years of experience in the financial services industry, she most recently was a business development officer/banker for Wells Fargo Bank in Plano. Miller majored in business administration at Collin County College and has completed the Omega Performance commercial lending training curriculum.

Kristal Martin has joined the bank as vice president/data and applications support manager in the bank’s operations division. A 2010 graduate of the Southwest CUNA Management School at Texas Christian University, she attended Kilgore Junior College.  Active in her community, Martin serves on the boards of the Upshur County Relay for Life and the Upshur County Cherokee Rose Festival. She is a committee member for the Gilmer High School Booster Club and past president of the Gilmer High School Cheer Booster Club. Martin serves on the Desmond Pollard scholarship committee and is a volunteer for Junior Achievement.

Tanner White has been promoted to banking officer and portfolio manager in the bank’s Frisco branch. He joined the bank in November 2020 as a credit analyst. White holds a BBA degree in finance from the Rawls College of Business at Texas Tech University.

Established in 1958, Texas Bank and Trust Co. operates 20 full-service branches throughout East Texas and the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex.
