Texas Bank and Trust Hires Gurney for Portfolio Management in Frisco

September 17, 2020

Amber GurneyAmber Gurney has joined the staff of Longview-based Texas Bank and Trust Co. as assistant vice president and portfolio manager in the bank’s Frisco branch. She previously served as finance manager for Bright Realty, where she managed the development finance team and was its leader for internal and external needs. In her tenure at Bright Realty, she closed more than $200 million in development loans and managed more than $400 million in debt and equity.

Gurney holds a BBA degree in finance and an MSBA degree in finance from the Rawls College of Business at Texas Tech University. She is also a graduate of the Texas Tech University School of Banking. Gurney enjoys volunteering at the North Texas Community Food Pantry and is passionate about mentoring local school students.

Established in 1958, Texas Bank and Trust Co. operates 20 full-service branches throughout East Texas and the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex.
