Texas Bank and Trust Announces Spring Promotions

May 25, 2021

Longview-based Texas Bank and Trust recently announced promotions across a number of its banking office locations.

Christian Cole has been promoted to banking officer/portfolio manager in the lending division of Texas Bank and Trust’s Van location. He joined the bank in 2020 as a credit analyst. In addition to his experience in the financial services industry, he has been the owner and operator of Cole Landscaping, located in Van, since 2013. Cole holds a BS degree in commerce and business administration from the Culverhouse College of Commerce and Business Administration (now the Culverhouse College of Business) at the University of Alabama. He serves on the Van Economic Development Committee board and is a member of the Van Chamber of Commerce and Texas Association of Sports Officials.

Rosie Horcasitas has been promoted to vice president/loan processing manager at the bank’s Frisco location. A native of Southern California, she has worked in the financial services industry for more than 20 years. After moving to the Dallas area five years ago, she joined Texas Bank and Trust in 2018 as a loan processing specialist. She holds a certificate in mortgage lending through the California State University–Fullerton’s extended education department and is a certified medical assistant through North-West College.

Angie Humphries has been promoted to assistant vice president/mortgage coordinator in Texas Bank and Trust’s Marshall location. She joined the bank in 2000 and has worked as a teller, new accounts representative and consumer loan assistant. In 2016, she assumed the role of mortgage coordinator, assisting the branch president with mortgage, consumer and commercial loans.

Katie Knickerbocker has been promoted to assistant vice president at the bank’s Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex locations. She has been employed by the bank since 2016 and serves as area operations manager for the Frisco, Richardson, Fort Worth, Flower Mound and McKinney locations. Knickerbocker is responsible for the daily operations of the branches and the development of retail teams within the metroplex market, as well as assisting with the design and opening of new branches in the region. She also assists the region’s commercial lenders in establishing customer relationships and supports the bank’s deposit growth in the metroplex. A native of San Angelo, Knickerbocker is a graduate of Western Governor’s University with a BS degree in business management. She is a member of the Frisco Young Professionals and is a volunteer for Frisco Family Services, Frisco ISD and Grace Bridge.

Kristi McLemore has been promoted to administrative officer/operations manager at Texas Bank and Trust’s Canton location. She joined the bank in 2013 as a loan assistant. She subsequently worked as a bank services representative and assistant operations manager. McLemore currently serves on the Canton Main Street board as chair of its organization committee. She is also chair of the Leadership Van Zandt County board.

Garrett O’Grady has been promoted to assistant vice president/commercial lending at the bank’s Fort Worth location. He joined the bank in 2019 as a credit analyst, having served as a credit analyst for Southwest Bank/Simmons Bank before joining Texas Bank and Trust. O’Grady holds BBA degrees in energy management and finance from the Price College of Business at the University of Oklahoma.

Established in 1958, Texas Bank and Trust Co. operates 21 branches throughout East Texas and the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex.
