Texas Bank and Trust Announces Promotions During Employee Awards Dinner

April 11, 2024

On March 19, Longview-based Texas Bank and Trust Co. announced numerous promotions during its employee awards dinner in Longview. These promotions advance team members in the bank’s Fort Worth, Frisco, Richardson, Marshall, Tyler Grande and Gladwater offices.

Alex Myers has been promoted to senior vice president/manager of treasury services in Fort Worth. His banking experience spans 12 years as a treasury management sales manager, treasury management officer, business banker and business services support manager in Missouri and in Texas. He studied business administration at Columbia College and the University of Missouri.

Letty Mota has been named assistant vice president/wealth and trust officer in Frisco. She began her career with Texas Bank and Trust in 2017.  She attended Mountain View Community College and graduated from ITI Technical College in Dallas. Mota has been recognized for serving as PTA president for seven years with the Dallas Independent School District (DISD). She is currently a member of the Estate Planning Council of North Texas, has served as a site-based decision-making board member for DISD for four years and has volunteered as a high school marching band booster mom. In addition, she has donated her time to her sons’ colleges, the University of Texas–Austin and Texas A&M University–Kingsville. Mota has received several awards within the fitness community for her work providing fitness training to city employees and their community members in the municipalities of Irving, Duncanville, Colleyville, Valley Ranch and Dallas.

Melissa Poy was promoted to administrative officer/operations manager in Richardson. She has been employed with Texas Bank and Trust since 2015, serving as a branch services representative, deposit account specialist and assistant operations manager. She holds a BSBA degree from the University of Texas–Dallas.

Jennifer Gregory has been promoted to administrative officer/operations manager in Marshall. She has been employed with the bank for 15 years, the past eight as the Marshall branch’s operations manager. She majored in vocal performance at East Texas Baptist University. Gregory is currently a volunteer with the Crisis Response Ministry of Harrison County.

Natalie Ferguson has been promoted to banking officer/lead administrative assistant in the lending department at the Tyler Grande location. She has been employed with the bank since 2018. She holds a BBA degree in management with a minor in finance from the University of Texas–Tyler and is a graduate of the Texas Bank and Trust 2022 Leadership Academy. Ferguson has served as a volunteer for Tyler’s Day of Caring, assisting organizations such as Meals on Wheels, the East Texas Food Bank, Children’s Advocacy Center and East Texas Crisis Center.

Shari Perry has been promoted to administrative officer/operations manager at the bank’s Gladewater location. She has worked in the financial services industry for 30 years, the past 14 with Texas Bank and Trust. She began her career with Texas Bank and Trust in the accounting division and was promoted to Gladewater branch operations manager in 2020. Perry holds an associate degree in social science from San Jacinto Junior College and a BBA degree from Stephen F. Austin State University.

Established in 1958, Texas Bank and Trust Co. operates 21 branches throughout East Texas and the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex.
