July 16, 2026

Jeanie HawkinsAfter a 38-year career in banking, Jeanie Hawkins, assistant vice president/BSA compliance, is retiring from Odessa-based SouthWest Bank.

In 1999, SouthWest Bank purchased Wink Bank and moved its headquarters to Odessa. Hawkins was part of that transition, having first been an employee of Wink Bank and then continuing her career with SouthWest Bank after the acquisition—even following the closure and sale of the Wink branch. “Throughout her career, Jeanie Hawkins has demonstrated dedication, professionalism and a strong commitment to both her colleagues and the customers she served,” the bank notes. “Her contributions have left a lasting impact on SouthWest Bank.”

Established in 1999, SouthWest Bank serves Odessa, Midland, Lubbock and surrounding communities.
