Moulton-based SouthStar Bank recently announced several promotions.
Larry D. Weisinger was promoted to branch executive at the bank’s Bee Cave location. With nearly two decades in banking, he previously served as senior vice president of lending. He will continue specializing in mortgage loans, including traditional home loans, portfolio loans and construction financing. Weisinger is a graduate of the University of Texas–Arlington and the University of North Texas.
Jeff Harris has been promoted to branch executive at SouthStar Bank’s Kerrville branch. In banking since 2017, he specializes in mortgage and consumer lending. A proud U.S. Marine Corps veteran, he has a passion for helping fellow veterans and families obtain the ultimate goal of homeownership. Harris serves as president of the Rotary Club of Kerrville and sits on the board of the City of Kerrville Planning and Zoning Commission. He also serves as vice president of the Hill Country Crisis Council, a director of Together with Hill Country Veterans and is currently enrolled in Leadership Kerr County.
Amber Gallagher has been promoted to CRE draw manager in its commercial real estate department. In the banking industry for more than 15 years, she started as a personal banker. Since her promotion to the lending side, Gallagher has been instrumental in the closing and servicing of some of the most complex transactions in the bank’s portfolio. Gallagher will continue in her role as vice president/commercial loan closing coordinator, handling a broad range of businesses, from agriculture and commercial loans to mortgage financing.
