Origin Bank Promotes Gates to Vice President of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion/Human Resources Regional Director

NaToyia GatesChoudrant, Louisiana-based Origin Bank announced that NaToyia Gates has been promoted to vice president of diversity, equity and inclusion/human resources regional director. Based in the bank’s financial center on Oak Lawn in Dallas, she joined the Origin Bank team in 2013 and has more than 12 years of professional human resources experience. She will continue her current responsibilities as regional human resources director while expanding to a leadership role in diversity, equity and inclusion, designed to strengthen and expand Origin Bank’s ongoing corporate initiatives.

Gates holds a BSBA degree from Missouri Western University and a Masters in Human Resource Management degree from Webster University. She also earned her professional human resources certification from Human Resource Certification Institute.

“The knowledge, professionalism and experience that NaToyia has shown while at Origin Bank make her a perfect fit for this expanded role,” says Drake Mills, chairman, president and CEO of the bank’s parent company, Origin Bancorp. “Origin continues to invest in improving diversity, equity and inclusion throughout the markets we serve and the creation of this new position strengthens our commitment to that endeavor.”
