Oklahoma City-based Valliance Bank has named Cara McClain president of Valliance Bank McKinney. She brings a diverse banking background, as well as more than 25 years of banking experience to the McKinney team.
For the past four years, McClain served as president of the private bank at Valliance McKinney. Prior to joining Valliance, she served as a senior vice president/commercial lending relationship officer for First United Bank in McKinney, where she specialized in serving professionals, health care and medical clients.
“Cara has helped build an astounding culture in Collin County. She leads and serves with a people-first mentality and Valliance Bank will continue to thrive under her leadership,” says Alicia Wade, president and COO.
McClain holds a BA degree from the University of Tennessee–Knoxville and is a graduate of the Southeastern School of Banking at Vanderbilt University. She currently attends the Southwestern School of Graduate Banking at Southern Methodist University. McClain is a board member of Agape Resource & Assistance Center and a big supporter of the Children’s Advocacy Center and American Cancer Society. She works with various mentorship programs through the McKinney ISD and Collin County Business Alliance.
“What I find most compelling about Valliance Bank is its undisputed leadership in the community banking industry,” McClain says. “I’m excited to lead the team here in McKinney as market president and continue to achieve our growth goals as well as serve the community I love.”
Established in 2004, Valliance Bank operates Oklahoma branches in Oklahoma City and Norman, and Texas branches in McKinney and Fort Worth.
