Oklahoma City, Oklahoma-based InterBank’s longtime CEO Pascal Hosch retired at the end of 2023. He will continue to serve on the board of directors of both the bank and its holding company, Olney Bancshares of Texas Inc. The bank has tapped C.K. Lee to succeed Hosch.
Hosch began his career at InterBank 30 years ago in Coleman, Texas. He subsequently became president of the bank’s Graham location and was named CEO of the bank in 2010. During his nearly 50-year banking career, Hosch worked at nearly every job in the bank—from the teller line to the executive suite to the board table. During his tenure as CEO, he oversaw several key acquisitions that deepened the bank’s footprint in Oklahoma and Texas, including the 2014 acquisition that brought the bank to the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex. During his leadership, InterBank grew to $4.2 billion in total assets while retaining its footing as a community bank with small-town customers with small-town values.
“I had the great privilege of spending time working with some banking icons and wonderful mentors in my early years,” Hosch said in a letter to staff sent earlier this year. “I owe the chair I sit in today to Ross McKnight. He believed in another country boy 30 years ago and has given me the chance to help him grow our bank into something truly special. I was given the opportunity to bring his vision of banking to life.”
“Pascal and I both believe that a bank built on relationships is a bank everyone can count on for the long haul,” says McKnight, chairman of Olney Bancshares of Texas. “Pascal has been a wonderful leader for our organization, and we all wish him the very best in his retirement from day-to-day executive responsibilities.”
Lee, who was serving as president and chief operating officer, assumed the roles of president and CEO effective January 1, 2024. He will remain president of Olney Bancshares of Texas Inc. and continue to work out of InterBank’s Fort Worth location. Lee joined the bank in 2020 following a career as a congressional staff member, bank regulator and investment banker covering financial institutions in the Southwest.
“InterBank is a great bank with great people, great customers and great ownership,” Lee says. “We are thankful for how far we’ve come under Pascal’s leadership, and I have learned something from him every day. We appreciate the confidence of our ownership and directors, and we are excited about our future.”
Established in 1987, InterBank serves more than 40 communities in Texas and Oklahoma.
