Obermeyer Joins VeraBank as Senior Vice President and Commercial Bank in Austin

Alix ObermeyerHenderson-based VeraBank has hired Alix Obermeyer to serve as senior vice president/commercial banker in Austin. With extensive commercial lending experience, she is well-versed in the local business landscape.

Obermeyer has more than a dozen years of banking experience. Prior to joining VeraBank, she was a senior vice president at Hillcrest Bank in Austin for four years and, before that, served as vice president/senior business relationship manager at Wells Fargo in Round Rock.

Obermeyer earned her BBA degree in accounting and finance from the University of Texas–Austin.

“We’ve assembled a skilled team of commercial bankers to support our growing client base in Austin since entering the market in 2020,” says Brad Tidwell, CEO. “Alix’s proven ability to cultivate strong client relationships aligns with our focus on building impactful business connections in Austin.”

Established in 1930, VeraBank serves 19 counties in East, Central and Southeast Texas with a network of 39 branches.
