In April, Midland-based Community National Bank announced several new officers and officer promotions.
Cheryl Bingham has been promoted to senior vice president/bank operations. She has been in banking for 37 years with 27 of those years at Community National Bank. She held numerous positions at the bank over the years prior to her recent promotion leading bank operations.
Amanda Tremble has been promoted to senior vice president/information systems supervisor. She is a seasoned professional with more than 18 years of service at Community National Bank. She joined the bank as a teller in 2006, later transitioning to the bank operation’s security department and then to information technology. Tremble holds a BS degree in cybersecurity.
Melissa Johnson has been promoted to vice president/mortgage. A native of Monahans, she relocated to Odessa after completing her education. In 2004, she started a career in the financial industry and quickly discovered her passion for lending. Johnson joined the Community National Bank team in 2014 serving as a mortgage loan officer.
Jayanthi Sivakumar has been promoted to assistant vice president/compliance officer. She joined Community National Bank in 2021 as a compliance analyst and was promoted to compliance officer in 2023. She graduated from the University of Texas–Permian Basin with an MBA degree. She started her banking career in 2012 as a teller in Odessa and transitioned to roles in BSA and compliance.
Mahala Edstrom has been promoted to banking officer/mortgage loan originator. She has been in the banking industry for more than 15 years. She joined the Community National Bank mortgage team in 2016 as a mortgage loan processor, then advanced to a loan originator assistant.
Diana Deanna has been promoted to banking officer/loan processing manager. She has been with the bank since 2021.
Ashley Jackson has been promoted to banking officer/new accounts review supervisor. She has been with Community National Bank for 19 years, working her way up from teller to new account review manager. She is responsible for ensuring new accounts comply with regulations and bank policies. Jackson’s team has eliminated account exceptions in audits since 2018.
Samantha Ramos has been promoted to banking officer/mortgage. Leveraging 17 years of experience in real estate, Ramos has been helping clients achieve their property goals at Community National Bank for the past three years. Although born in Rankin, Ramos has proudly called Midland home for 38 years.
