Louisiana-based Origin Bank Hires Irwin and Kresser for Fort Worth Relationship Banking Team

June 9, 2021

Choudrant, Louisiana-based Origin Bank has announced that Greg Irwin and Bill Kresser have joined the company’s Fort Worth relationship banking team. Both will maintain offices at the bank’s financial center on Throckmorton St. in downtown Fort Worth.

“We are thrilled to welcome Greg and Bill to Origin Bank,” says Justin Holt, Tarrant County market leader. “Their combined experience, commitment to relationship banking and dedication to helping clients achieve their financial goals make them a great fit with our Fort Worth team.”

Irwin joins the bank as a private banking relationship banker. He will establish, grow and manage relationships with high-net-worth individuals and families. Irwin has more than 27 years of banking experience, specializing in wealth management and private banking. He holds a BBA degree from the University of Texas–Arlington and is a member of Ridglea Country Club and the Breakfast Club of Fort Worth. He previously served on the board of Fort Worth Sister Cities International.

Kresser joins Origin Bank as a private banking relationship banker. He will assist high-net-worth clients with their daily banking needs such as checking, savings and CD deposits. He has more than 20 years of experience in the banking industry, specializing in assisting high-net-worth clients. His experience also includes lending and brokerage services. Kresser holds a BA degree in political science from the University of Texas–Arlington. He is a current board member for Stage West, for which he also served as an investment committee board member. He is a former “Coach of the Year” for United Way.

Established in 1912, Origin Bank has more than 40 banking centers in Louisiana and Mississippi, as well as Dallas/Fort Worth and Houston.
