Louisiana-based Origin Bank Hires Deora and Carpenter to Support Growth in The Woodlands

Choudrant, Louisiana-based Origin Bank has announced that Vishakha Deora and Jeff Carpenter have joined the company’s team at The Woodlands banking center to support the community’s rapid growth.

Vishakha DeoraVishakha Deora joins the bank as executive vice president/commercial relationship banker. With nearly 20 years of experience in financial services, she specializes in commercial real estate lending, new business development, underwriting of large corporate loans and debt restructuring. Deora earned an MBA degree from Wayne State University and a BA degree from the University of Mumbai.

Jeff Carpenter joins the bank as executive vice president/commercial relationship banker. He has more than 44 years of experience in financial services, specializing in commercial real estate lending, revolving lines of credit and equipment for middle-market companies,Jeff Carpenterwith an emphasis on new business development.

“I’m pleased to have Vishakha and Jeff join the Origin Bank team,” says Jody Proler, regional chief operating officer. “Their experience and passion for serving will have a tremendous impact on our personal, small-business and commercial banking customers.”

Deora and Carpenter will maintain offices at Origin Bank’s banking center in The Woodlands, located at 2501 Research Forest Drive, Suite A.
