Larry Allen, Lubbock-based Peoples Bank CEO and chairman, has announced the promotion of Matthew Knies. He will serve as branch president at the bank’s Princeton location. Knies has been with Peoples Bank for eight months and in the banking industry for more than five years.
Knies received his BBA degree with concentrations in finance and energy management from the University of Oklahoma. He serves on the Princeton Chamber of Commerce board of directors. He is also involved with the Princeton Lions Club and volunteers with United Way and the North Texas Food Bank.
Established in 1968, Peoples Bank has 12 locations serving West Texas, North Central Texas and the Texas Panhandle.
