Jeff Austin III, chairman of the board of Jacksonville-based Austin Bank, has announced the promotion of Dustin Beavers to senior vice president. The promotion was approved at the bank’s February 2024 board meeting.
With more than 18 years of banking and lending experience, Beavers has held management positions in both retail and lending operations. He joined the Austin Bank team in 2015 as assistant vice president and relationship manager, was promoted to vice president in 2020 and to location president in 2021.
Active in his community, Beavers is a member and past president of the Nacogdoches Chamber of Commerce board, a member and past president of the area’s United Way board and a member of the Nacogdoches Economic Development Corp. He also was previously a member of the Fredonia Rotary Club, serving as past president, and the Nacogdoches Jaycees.
