Bank of Texas has announced two new hires to serve private wealth banking customers in the Fort Worth office. Their role will focus on building new client relationships and maintaining strong relationships with high-net-worth clients and businesses in and around Tarrant County.
Greg Irwin joins the bank with more than 20 years of banking experience in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex, having supported private wealth teams for Wells Fargo, BBVA Compass, Bank of America and, most recently, Origin Bank. He graduated from the University of Texas–Arlington with a BBA degree and holds securities and investments licenses. Irwin has been involved with the Fort Worth Classic Guitar Society, Arts Council of Fort Worth and Tarrant County, Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth and Fort Worth Sister Cities International, in addition to volunteering with Catholic Charities.
Angie Lynch comes to Bank of Texas with more than 10 years of local banking experience. She worked on private wealth teams at First Horizon Bank, Frost Bank and JPMorgan Chase. She earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing from the University of North Texas. Lynch is a certified wealth strategist from the Cannon School of Business and holds investment and insurance licenses. She enjoys volunteering in the community and has a passion for animal causes, currently volunteering with Don’t Forget to Feed Me and Mid-Cities Community Cats.
“Fort Worth is a rapidly growing market for the private wealth team and all of Bank of Texas,” says Nick Estrada, senior vice president/private wealth market manager in Fort Worth. “We have already made some new connections with the addition of Angie and Greg and this will enable the team to continue to build momentum.”
