Kerrville-based Guadalupe Bank has hired Lydia Gonzales to expand its commercial lending presence in San Antonio. She will serve as executive vice president of commercial lending. A San Antonio native with more than 28 years of banking experience, Gonzales most recently served as executive vice president/market president at Blue Sky Bank, leading commercial operations and driving significant portfolio growth.
Gonzales’ career spans roles as a market executive, regional sales manager, senior business development officer and executive vice president/commercial lender. She specializes in business lending, including owner-occupied and investment real estate financing, as well as construction lending. Prior to her five years at Blue Sky Bank, Gonzales was senior vice president/commercial lending for Karnes County National Bank. Earlier stints included roles at Spirit of Texas Bank, Ozona Bank, Crocket National Bank, JPMorgan Chase Bank and Lone Star National Bank, among others.
Gonzales earned her BBA degree from the University of Incarnate Word. Active in the community, she is involved with the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Greater San Antonio Chamber, Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW), Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM), the Risk Management Association’s Women in Finance, Financial Women in Texas, the Central Texas Association of Government Guaranteed Lenders (CTAGGL) and the Bexar County Medical Society.
Established in 2008, Guadalupe Bank serves Central Texas with locations in Kerrville and Fredericksburg.
