First United Bank’s Suchala Named Among D Magazine/D CEO’s ‘Dallas 500’ List for 2022

Ryan SuchalaRyan Suchala, Dallas community bank president at Durant, Oklahoma-based First United Bank, has been named as one of the D Magazine/D CEO’s Dallas 500 honorees for 2022. According to D CEO, this list profiles “the region’s most influential business, civic and nonprofit leaders” throughout North Texas.

For the past four years, Suchala has helped lead the expansion of First United Bank, including its launch of the Dallas community bank. He began his banking career with Oklahoma-based BOK Financial 22 years ago and prior to joining First United was president of the Dallas market for Bank of Texas, a subsidiary of BOK Financial.

Suchala is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma with a BBA degree and MBA degree. He has also completed the Southwestern Graduate Banking School at Southern Methodist University, as well as the Stagen Leadership Institute’s Integral Leadership Program; he is currently enrolled in the Advanced Leadership Program there.

“I admire the success achieved by so many dedicated leaders in the DFW market and I am excited to be working with our team at First United to inspire and empower our stakeholders to Spend Life Wisely,” Suchala says, citing his bank’s motto.

Established in 1900, First United Bank operates more than 85 bank, mortgage and insurance locations throughout Oklahoma and Texas.
