Eargle Named Chairman of the Board for The National Bank of Texas at Fort Worth

Steve EargleOn April 22, Wade Donnell, CEO of The National Bank of Texas at Fort Worth, along with the bank’s board of directors, announced that Steve Eargle has been elected chairman of the board. A board member since 2017, Eargle currently serves on the executive, strategic planning, property and director’s loan committees. Eargle is a founding partner at the Fort Worth law firm of Beckham, Rector & Eargle LLP, which specializes in oil, gas and energy resources. He has also been a general partner at Fort Worth Royalty Co. since its founding in 1993.

Eargle earned his BBA degree in marketing from the University of Texas, where he also played football from 1982 to 1986. He earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Texas School of Law in 1990. After law school, Eargle went to work as an associate oil and gas attorney with the law firm Law, Snakard & Gambill PC in Fort Worth. In 1996, he and his partners formed Beckham, Rector & Eargle LLP. Board-certified in oil, gas and mineral law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, Eargle has written and presented articles to various oil and gas professional associations.

Eargle recently served two terms as president of the Fort Worth Petroleum Club and previously served on its board as chair of the pension and retirement committee. He has also served as president of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Fort Worth, as well as on numerous committees for the church.

Established in 1973, The National Bank of Texas at Fort Worth operates four branches in Fort Worth, Azle, Burleson and Hurst.
