IBC Bank–Eagle Pass recently announced the promotions of three bank associates in various departments.
Rosalba Duran has been promoted to bank officer in the retail division. She has 24 years of banking experience, 15 of those years with IBC Bank. One of her favorite pastimes is working with community nonprofit organizations as a member of the bank’s employee advisory board. Duran earned her associate degree in management from Southwest Texas Junior College.
Silvia Montemayor Cobo was promoted to vice president in the international department. She has been in banking for 29 years and with IBC Bank since 2002. She enjoys performing community work with the Eagle Pass Library Foundation and as a member of the Eagle Pass Main Street Project.
Jose Baldemar Palafox has been promoted to vice president in the commercial lending department. He has served within the commercial lending division at IBC Bank for 15 years. Palafox earned his BBA degree in finance from the University of Texas–San Antonio. He enjoys working with the Rotary Club of Del Rio, serving on the board of the Del Rio Chamber of Commerce and the board of the Del Rio Board of Realtors. He also coaches the Eagles softball team at Liberty Elementary School as well as the little league softball team.
