Citizens State Bank Hires Davidson for Commercial Lending

January 15, 2025

Paul DavidsonG. Paul Davidson has joined Woodville-based Citizens State Bank to serve as senior vice president/commercial lending in the bank’s Valley Ranch location. He brings to his new position 20 years of banking experience in the areas of commercial and SBA lending.

After earning his BS degree from Texas A&M University, Davidson received an MBA degree in finance with an emphasis in commercial banking from the Bauer College of Business at the University of Houston. His specialty includes small-business acquisitions, utilizing the SBA 7A loan program. Other areas of focus include commercial and industrial lending dealing with revolving lines of credit and equipment financing.

Davidson has been an active member of the Rotary Club of Lake Houston since 2009 and has served as the club’s treasurer.

Established in 1919, Citizens State Bank has banking offices in Woodville, Marlin, Valley Ranch and Warren.
