Atlanta, Georgia-based Cadence Bank has hired Ariel “Ari” Marin to serve as wealth planning strategist in the Dallas office of the bank’s trust and asset management group. The bank operates 13 banking offices in Texas.
Prior to joining Cadence Bank, Marin worked for the Nautilus Group, a subsidiary of New York Life. There, he consulted on a wide variety of tax, legal, financial and family planning needs. Before Nautilus, he worked for Wescott Financial Advisory Group, Merrill Lynch and Ennovance Capital.

Marin received a bachelor’s degree from George Washington University, a Juris Doctor degree from the City University of New York School of Law, a Master of Law degree in taxation and certificate in estate planning from Villanova Law School’s Graduate Tax Program. He is also a certified financial planner and chartered life underwriter. Marin has volunteered with the SeniorLAW Center, Put Something Back, Wills for Heroes, Manhattan Legal Services and the Campaign for Working Families.
