Tupelo, Mississippi-based Cadence Bank has tapped Brad Durham to serve as executive vice president and managing director of its financial institutions group (FIG), which provides correspondent banking services for financial institution clients.
Durham brings more than 45 years of experience in commercial banking and most recently served as a senior vice president and correspondent banker for a Dallas-based community bank. During his career, he also served as the founder, president and CEO of Independent Bank of Texas in Irving.
“Brad is a highly respected banker with a wide breadth of knowledge and experience,” says Dan Rollins, chairman and CEO. “His background in both building correspondent banking relationships and also owning and operating a community bank will be key factors in our ability to add value and deliver solutions that meet our FIG clients’ goals.”
Durham has a bachelor’s degree in education from Texas Christian University. He also completed the Southwestern Graduate School of Banking at Southern Methodist University.
Established in 1876, Cadence Bank operates nearly 400 branch locations across the South and Texas.
