Tyler-based Southside Bank has hired Curtis Burchard to serve as senior executive vice president and associate chief lending officer. His 40-year career includes a track record of growing portfolios, maintaining close relationships with clients, and his careful attention to credit administration. Burchard will office out of Southside Bank’s Houston location on Post Oak Blvd., but will support all of the bank’s commercial lending activity throughout its Texas offices.
Burchard previously served as executive vice president and managing director of commercial real estate at Texas Capital Bank in Houston. Prior to that, he served in a similar capacity at BBVA Compass in Houston for 29 years.
Burchard earned his BBA degree in accounting and business management from Texas State University.
Established in 1960, Southside Bank operates 59 banking offices in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex, Houston and Central and East Texas.
