Beals Promoted to Vice President at HomeTown Bank

September 5, 2020

Graylin BealsGraylin Beals has been promoted to vice president at Galveston-based HomeTown Bank National Association. He serves as operations manager/assistant branch manager at HomeTown Bank’s Friendswood Bay office. Beals joined the HomeTown Bank team as a new accounts representative at the main branch in Galveston in 2011. He was named new accounts supervisor at the main branch in 2015, moved to the League City branch in 2016 and was promoted to assistant vice president/operations manager at the Friendswood Bay branch in 2017.

“Graylin is a very hard worker and truly deserving of his promotion to vice president,” says Steve Owens, senior vice president and Friendswood Bay area branch manager. “He is extremely knowledgeable about branch operations and has shown great commitment to HomeTown Bank. He is liked by all and I am honored to have him on our team.”

Beals is an ambassador for the Friendswood Chamber of Commerce and a member of the South Belt-Ellington Chamber of Commerce board of directors.

Established in 1966 as the Bank of Galveston NA, the name was changed to HomeTown Bank NA in 1999 to reflect its expansion off Galveston Island. HomeTown Bank operates two locations in Galveston, two in Friendswood and one each in Alvin, League City and Pearland.
