Barroteran Promoted to Senior Vice President/Commercial Banking Manager at WestStar Bank

Victor BarroteranEl Paso-based WestStar Bank has promoted Victor Barroteran to senior vice president/commercial banking manager. In this new role, Barroteran will lead and develop one of WestStar’s commercial banking teams to facilitate the expansion of new commercial business.

With 27 years of experience, Barroteran brings a robust background in commercial banking, leadership and business development to his new position.

“During my four years with WestStar, I have experienced an unparalleled culture and mission dedicated to addressing the financial needs of the Borderplex region,” Barroteran says.

Barroteran holds a BBA degree in economics from the University of Texas–El Paso and has served as a board member at Hospice El Paso for the past seven years.

Established in 1990, WestStar Bank is a locally owned community bank with assets of more than $3 billion. It serves the El Paso, Las Cruces and Northern Mexico region, also known as the Borderplex.
